- 1 lb. chicken breast
- 2 carrots peeled and chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1 stalk celery chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1 potato peeled and diced into small cubes
- ½ onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 4 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 oz. can tomato sauce or 1 cup of your favorite homemade tomato soup
- 1 tbsp. sugar or honey for sweetness Optional
Instructions
- Set your oven’s temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Bring the chicken broth to a boil over high heat in a large pot. Add the diced potatoes and carrots, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste, and sugar/honey if desired.
