  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • ½ cup dried peas
  • ¼ cup barley
  • 3 carrots peeled and chopped into large chunks

  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion chopped
