  • 6 cloves minced garlic.
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic, ground fine.
  • 6 Tbsp. honey (light or dark).
  • Of your choice: 14 cups pancake syrup.
  • A pinch of ground black pepper.
  • 34 cups of your favorite beer.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • If you’re using fresh meat, you may want to freeze it to make slicing easier partially.
  • Thinly slice the meat, about 1/8 inch thick.
  • Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and whisk thoroughly to combine using a whisk to ensure that all ingredients are evenly dispersed throughout the mixture.
  • Using a spoon, add the beef to the mixture and gently stir.
  • Marinate the meat for at least 2 hours and up to 4 hours in the marinade if you have the time.
  • Dehydrate the marinated slices on trays.
  • Add black pepper to your liking if you like it spicy.
  • Depending on the dehydrator you’re using, the drying time will vary.
  • It is possible to purchase units with an integrated fan, which can cut down on setup time by as much as 50%.
  • Dehydration can take anywhere from six to sixteen hours on average.
